TROX provides excellent air conditioning – also in special areas such as in the Frauenkirche in Dresden.
After the destruction of the Dresden Frauenkirche in February 1945, the ruins were seen as a symbol of the collapse of all moral values. Over the past years, the citizens of Dresden, together with sponsors from all over the world and former anti-war protesters rebuilt the church. What emerged was more than a memorial for the past. It provided a vision that peace has to be more than just a word. Moreover, after more than 60 years, Dresden had recovered its town’s silhouette.
Up to 1,800 visitors make themselves welcomes in the Dresden Frauenkirche, which was faithfully rebuilt in accordance with the original historical plans. The structure cannot take damage and has to meet modern and particularly climatic and acoustic requirements.
This was a considerable challenge for the ventilation planners, who also had the task of hiding their technology.
